Visual Artist & Art Instructor | Manchester, UK
Nahid Karami is a passionate artist whose work spans Realism, Hyperrealism, Decoupage, and Decorative Art. Based in Manchester, she brings a patient and thoughtful approach to both her creative practice and her teaching. Her art reflects a deep appreciation for detail, texture, and emotion — often exploring how everyday life and imagination intertwine on canvas.
Over the past few years, Nahid has shared her skills across several community spaces in Salford, leading art workshops with Woman Voice Community, From Salford Community, and Doosti Community. Through these sessions, she has supported women and newcomers in expressing themselves, building confidence, and finding joy through creativity. Before relocating to the UK, Nahid ran her own art studio in Iran, where she taught drawing, charcoal, and oil painting to learners of all levels, both in-person and online.
Nahid holds a BSc in Economic Engineering from Payame Noor University and professional certifications in Charcoal Art and Drawing, Seven Arts, and Fabric Design from Tehran and Shiraz. Her background combines technical precision with artistic sensitivity, giving her a unique ability to guide others in refining their craft while nurturing self-expression.
Beyond teaching, Nahid finds inspiration in visiting galleries, exploring new techniques, and connecting with creative communities that promote mental well-being and empowerment. She continues to use her art as a bridge — linking people, cultures, and stories through colour and creativity.
